Mike Manley, Chrysler EVP told Detroit News that discussions between Chrysler and Chery have concluded and the companies will pursue their own directions. Which means no Hornet. Unless Chrysler's deal with Nissan calls for the version of the Versa? It's a shame. I really thought if they could get the Hornet to market sometime on or before 2011 they'd have a winner. But that looks like it's not going to happen. The Big 3 come up with some great ideas that just never seem to get off the ground. Yet, another problem they all share.
