Nissan 370 Z Dash

Wowser. Looks like they put everything and the kitchen sink in one small area. Okay first I like the center unit up to the top of the gps navigation.  It's clean and the vents on the side of the gps blend away.  The buttons on the gps are simple and big enough to touch and after a few tries one should be able to touch without looking off the road for too long.  But...
Those three little bug like pods above the navigation screen.  They don't look right.  It's like the build the center and someone came up to the designer and said "Hey, you forgot to include these".   So the designer whipped out of stick of crazy glue and added them on top.  Done.  the use of fake chrome in the center is kept to an allowable amount.  I am not a fan of that fake tin chrome they put all over cars.

Let's go over to around the main gauges at the steering wheel.  This is were the extra tin fake chrome went to use.
Someone in sports car design school's must be telling future designers that sports car drivers like to feel like they are in a cockpit of a jetfighter.  So the Nissan designers went for that jet fighter look.  I've seen worse but I really was hoping for a clean interior cockpit for the new Z.  I'll have to wait to I see one of these driving about.  I havn't seen a whole lot of these the last few years.  Maybe this new redo will help the sales a bit.
