Here is the basic Ford Fusion with the new starting price of $19,270. Not too bad. Maybe in a few months with incentives they can get that down $18,000. I think this is the best Ford in years styling and engine wise. The Hybrid should be a big winner. The problem is that people right or wrong perceive Ford as not as good as Toyota or Nissan. I think what Ford needs to do is just barely break even on selling this car just to undercut all other car makers. Get these out on the roads. Ford should figure out what these normally would sell for with all the incentives and kick backs and put that price out now on the sticker. Then as they sell they can slowly inch up the price. Let's face it times are desperate for the Big 3, cars are starting to back up on lots, factories are being cut...something has to be done. Why not go for broke and launch these winning cars at winning prices?
