Ford Interceptor

Okay so it's a bit much with the chrome vent on the side and that big grill.  But this was the car Ford should have put out instead of the Ford 400 / Taurus.  Luckily the next Taurus will be better than the warmed over Jetta design that was leftover in J. May's design book.  The Interceptor should have been made.  At some point the LTD/Crown Vic's are going to be put out to pasture and with no new Town Car on the horizon Ford needs something.  Why not the Interceptor?

Since this is now an old design and Ford is moving to the kinetic style language they could update this a bit and bring it out still.  Ford needs a big car.  American's still buy big cars.  Not on the scale they use to but they do.  It's time to update the big American car.
