For an extra $1,999 you can drive around in a specially badged Town & Country that includes the best of 2007 technology. You get includes a Dell Mini 9 Netbook, an 8GB iPod Touch, a Sony PSP, and a digital camera with an Eye-Fi Wi-Fi SD card.Don't get me wrong the iPod Touch and be loaded with tons of great applications from the iTunes store and the PSP will really keep one of the kids busy in the back seat. But a mini notebook and digital camera? Now if I was to be building a Web Edition I'd first be talking to Apple. Get the same software that is in the iPhone and iTouch into my onboard gps navigation system. Why? Because the passenger can be using the Open Table application to find local restaurants and getting reservations. And that is only one of the many useful application available at the iTunes store. Then in the back I'd have Nintendo DS's for the kids. That way using the cars wifi they can play together. Or iTouch's with loaded games like Spore. And how about decent sounds for the movies in the built in dvd systems. Seriously make the back a fun room for the kids for those long family trips. That is just the beginning. Look at Microsoft's Synch and then think of what Apple could do.
