BMW 1-Series "Shooting Brake"

Okay I admit that I like hatchbacks, wagons and most of all shooting brakes. Then again I don't have kids to toss in the back of an SUV and run to soccer practice. But I do lead a pretty active lifestyle with running, biking, swimming, gym going and general outdoorsy stuff. So hatchback and mini-cuv's are perfect cars for single people like me. And for smaller families.

Some of my favorite cars on the market are the Audi A3, Mazda 3, Mini Cooper, Volvo C30, BMW X3 and the BMW 1 Series. Yeah the BMW 3 series and Audi A4 are fine cars but I like them a bit smaller. That way I can put other stuff in my parking garage besides just a car. I try to tend away from BMW's just because they seem to be the unofficial car of West LA popping up on every street corner and Walgreen's parking lot. Not so much for the 1 Series though. Being so close in price to the 3 Series people just bump up to the bigger car even if they don't need that extra room for an additional couple of thousand. That is why I like the idea of a BMW 1 Series Shooting Brake. It's small enough and it isn't a Mini. Don't get me wrong Mini's are cute and all but I prefer the BMW interior styling better than the retro Mini styling. Let's hope this comes to the USofA
